How We Rate Sportsbooks

We only review AGCO-registered sportsbooks. The full rule, and how we check each book against the iGaming Ontario list of registered operators, is in the licensing section of our editorial policy.

Every review carries six scores out of 10:

• Live odds — how competitive the pricing is and how well in-play markets hold up.
• Market depth — how many markets and props the board carries.
• Sports coverage — how well the book covers the leagues Ontarians bet on.
• Withdrawals — verified payout times, minimums, methods and fees.
• Mobile — the app's stability, speed and features.
• Trust & safety — licensing, regulatory record and how the operator handles your account and money.

Each review's overall rating is an editorial judgement informed by the six scores, not a simple average of them. The rankings on our hockey, basketball, baseball and football pages follow the scores given by the Wingman who covers that sport; our soccer page, which has no dedicated Wingman, ranks books by the depth of soccer coverage in their reviews.

Banking figures, features and corporate details come from operators' published terms and help pages, app store listings, regulator notices and independent reviews, checked on the dates shown on each page. Where sources disagree, we say so or leave the figure out rather than guess.

When the AGCO or another regulator takes action against an operator, we report it in the review, using the regulator's own notice as the source, and reflect it in the trust & safety score.

Each review shows when it was last updated, and that date changes only when the review's content actually changes. We re-check banking figures and the register regularly and correct errors when we find them.

Ontario's rules restrict public advertising of bonuses and inducements, so we don't list or promote offers.
